    Name, phone, address, riding experience, and the plan and weekly amount you can manage.

    Verify your identity

    We check your NIN and passport photo. A rider's licence strengthens your profile.

    Prove where you live

    Upload a utility bill from the last 3 months and a proof of address.

    Add two guarantors

    People who know you — parent, employer, religious or community leader — with a valid ID each.

    Pay ₦1,500 and get approved

    Pay by card, transfer or USSD and track your application. Once approved, you're in line for a tracked FleetGuard vehicle near you.

What every rider profile contains.

Documents are checked as they're uploaded. Blurry, incomplete or out-of-date documents are rejected on the spot, so riders can fix them straight away.

NIN verification

Every rider's National Identification Number is checked before their profile goes live.

Passport photo & NIN slip

A face to the name, matched against their identity document.

Utility bill

Electricity, water or waste bill issued within the last three months.

Proof of address

Tenancy agreement, bank statement or LGA letter confirming where they live.

Two guarantors

Name, phone, relationship, occupation, address and a valid ID for each.

Rider's licence

Optional for riders who don't have one yet, and clearly shown on every profile.

Your data stays with FleetGuard

Rider data is processed in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023. Owners see their vehicle and who's riding it — never a rider's documents or phone number.

Owners stay private

Owners are set up by FleetGuard directly. Riders and drivers only ever deal with FleetGuard, never with the owner.

Know the road rules

Commercial kekes and okadas are restricted in some places — for example Abuja city centre since August 2026, and some Lagos highways and bridges. Agree routes that are legal where you operate.

Tracked, never trapped

Every vehicle has a GPS tracker. The engine can only be stopped when the vehicle is parked, after warnings, and with two FleetGuard admins' approval.
